Master List Of Monsanto Influenced “Food” Producers

Monsanto. The creator of the GMO “Frankenfood.” The resident evil of Big Business and food production.

Every day when you open your browser or turn on your TV, you’ll see one more headline about a certain food causing illness, obesity, or other various medical nuances. The fight against GMOs and pesticides in our food increases on a daily basis. For almost 30 years, Monsanto and other corporate agribusinesses have borderline dictatorial control over American agriculture. Since the mid 1990’s, Monsanto has been a target for consumer rage.

Who Is Monsanto?

Granted, this power company did not start as a bio genetic super lab. Originally Monsanto ran primarily plastics and chemical divisions. Starting in the ‘80s, Monsanto traded over to bio genetic research and the GMO soybean was born in 1994. It wasn’t until later in the ‘90’s when the genetically modified foods spread through Europe that environmental groups, such as Greenpeace, capitalized on the general public’s fear of the unknown and the anti-GMO spark became a full-fledged flame.

By their own admission, Monsanto views their GM foods as technology – a product to be perfected. They’ve removed themselves from the emotional connection surrounding food and has caused a public relations nightmare. Thanks to the increasing push for organic and natural foods, companies like Monsanto are losing that control over food production and agricultural influence.

The Millions against Monsanto Campaign (MAMC), started by the OCA in the mid 1990’s, have opted to completely boycott purchasing products made by companies owned or produced by Monsanto.

The typical American shopper purchases a large percentage of these products on a daily basis. Already dominating the food industry in the United States, Monsanto is now targeting milk production across the country. The MAMC organization implores consumers to take a hard look at manufactures are putting into their foods and to help cripple the Monsanto monopolization and toxic contamination of the American food supply.
